Vinification: Typically Mediterranean climate, in the Lagos wine sub-region, where the climatic conditions are the coolest and mildest in the Algarve, providing an optimal microclimate for producing high-quality wines. Poorly productive soils, clay-limestone with active limestone and low water reserve. Great soil potential for vine cultivation and for obtaining excellent wines. Vinification was carried out in clay amphorae without temperature control, using indigenous yeasts from the region and without any addition or correction of the must. This wine was not stabilized before bottling to preserve its aging potential, and may develop a slight natural deposit during bottle aging.
Tasting Notes: Ruby and bright color. On the nose, aromas of sour cherry, ripe raspberry, and fresh plum stand out, with subtle vegetal hints. On the palate, it is enveloping and balanced, with a creamy texture, marked minerality, and an elegant saline note. The finish is long, vibrant, and full of freshness.
Awards: One of the 30 best wines of Portugal in the Best of 2025 competition by Revista de Vinhos.

Return policy
The customer may return a product up to 48 hours after receiving it. Only returns of products that are damaged or in poor condition are permitted. To return an order, you must contact us by sending an email to help@avotetewineshop.com or using our form, explaining the reasons for the return. If the product is broken or deteriorated, we may ask the customer to provide photographs of the condition of the product in question. In these cases, Avó Têtê - Wine Shop will cover the costs of returning the products, provided that they are broken, damaged or in poor condition. If the order is correct, but the customer has changed their mind or does not agree with any of the products, they have seven days to make the return. All products must be in perfect condition, unopened, unused and in their original packaging, exactly as they were received by the customer. Shipping costs to our facilities will be borne by the customer. Once received and inspected, we will proceed to pay the same amount for which the customer purchased the product.
