Shipping policy
At checkout, the customer can choose between two delivery methods for your order provided by Avó Têtê - Wine Shop: in-store pickup Avó Têtê - Wine Shop, or delivery to the address.
If you choose delivery to the address, it is the User's responsibility to assume the risk of the products once delivered to the delivery address specified at the time of the order. We do not accept responsibility when an incorrect delivery address is provided or when the User does not collect the products at the specified delivery address.
Nevertheless, the risk of loss or damage to the products will only be your responsibility after delivery to the delivery address.
A Avó Têtê - Wine Shop entrusts the delivery of your orders to an external transport service, proceeding with the shipment of the ordered product(s) on the days and times used by the logistics company, to the delivery address indicated by the customer.
The estimated delivery time for orders varies between: 2 to 3 business days for deliveries in Mainland Portugal, 4 to 5 business days for deliveries to the Azores or Madeira Archipelagos, 2 to 3 business days for deliveries in Spain, 3 to 5 business days for deliveries in Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, 4 to 8 business days for Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, 5 to 10 business days for deliveries in Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Romania, about 20 business days for deliveries in United States (USA), 10 to 15 business days for United Kingdom (UK), 20 business days for postal deliveries to the rest of the world.
Delivery times may be delayed during periods of higher order volume, such as sales periods, Christmas, Black Friday, among others.
The costs applied to the shipment of the order are the responsibility of the customer, with an automatic calculation of this value made for each order during the checkout process, based on the number of items, weight and size of the items, and the delivery address, according to the following table:

Taxes and Shipping
When placing your order, you will be informed of the delivery cost to your address or country during the checkout process, which includes transportation and delivery of your order.
For orders within the European Union (EU):
Prices include the local VAT of the destination country.
All our products are legalized for the consumer market in the EU, with taxes already paid, allowing us to sell to any member country of the European Union.
There may be exceptions where local law requires an additional fee on wines or spirits. In these cases, the amount may be requested at the time of delivery, so we advise verifying with local authorities regarding import rights and applicable fees.
For orders outside the European Union (EU):
Prices do not include local VAT or other local taxes.
Import procedures are managed by our shipping partner. Upon arrival at local customs, the partner will contact you with the amounts to be paid and instructions on the payment process.
Import taxes and fees vary depending on the value and type of products in the order. We cannot guarantee exemption from taxes and fees, so we recommend checking with your local customs office for detailed information before placing your order.
