Vinification: Hand-harvested during the last week of August. Strict selection of vineyard sections with the best quality, and the grapes are transported in small 15kg boxes. A final cluster selection is made on the sorting table, followed by destemming and gentle berry opening. Fermented at 27 ºC to achieve the best aromatic quality and promote better extraction of color and tannins. After fermentation ends, the wine remains in contact with the skins for 16 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, where it stays for 16 months. After aging, the wine is bottled and remains in the bottle for 18 months before being released to the market.
Tasting Notes: The nose is dominated by fruits such as currant, cherry, or jams and is wrapped in spicy notes. On the palate, it is a wine that fills the mouth in a polished and rounded way, providing a sensation of well-balanced structure and acidity, finishing long and flavorful.
Pairing: This is a very rich wine that can support more intense aromas and flavors at the table. It is best enjoyed with red meats, stewed and spiced dishes, regional tapas, or oven-roasted meals.

Return policy
The customer may return a product up to 48 hours after receiving it. Only returns of products that are damaged or in poor condition are permitted. To return an order, you must contact us by sending an email to help@avotetewineshop.com or using our form, explaining the reasons for the return. If the product is broken or deteriorated, we may ask the customer to provide photographs of the condition of the product in question. In these cases, Avó Têtê - Wine Shop will cover the costs of returning the products, provided that they are broken, damaged or in poor condition. If the order is correct, but the customer has changed their mind or does not agree with any of the products, they have seven days to make the return. All products must be in perfect condition, unopened, unused and in their original packaging, exactly as they were received by the customer. Shipping costs to our facilities will be borne by the customer. Once received and inspected, we will proceed to pay the same amount for which the customer purchased the product.
